Lucia's Squash in the Morning SunI did this painting from a photograph I had taken one morning as the sun came in the east window. There is nothing like the morning sun on a still life - but it is so fleeting.
This is a small painting - about 6 X 10 - done on Arches 140 cold press. I don't like the surface texture of Arches now. "if it ain't broke . . ." So why did they change it? And why didn't they ask ME? No one ever does.

What beautiful crisp paintings. Can't wait to see them in person. From here the colors are beautiful and clear and pleasing, just like their painter. K
