It was a sunny, warm, wonderful week to paint in Bay View.
I also had a couple of watercolor classes along the Bay. It was hot, but there was a nice breeze and we had shelter there. It just seemed sooo good to have it actually feel like summer.
Last night we walked home from the park in the rain with the kids, then spent the evening reading and playing checkers on the porch. Now, that's a summer evening ~ complete with hamburgers, hot dogs, and root beer floats.

Catherine, I miss being in your class and love your sketch books and blogs. You are still teaching me, and I am still trying, and enjoying applying what I learned in the 6 short weeks this spring. Hope to see you in a fall class. Mary Lou Bachman
We played Clue on the deck and had hot dogs, chips, and root beer floats. :)
Where sis you get that cool brush pen?
Elftea - I think I bought the brush from Cheap Joe's, but they are available in almost any art store. It has a hollow handle that you fill with water and squeeze a little to dampen the brush.
