Did you know that there are male and female pinecones ?The one I have drawn here is a female. The only way I know that is because I just googled "pine cones". I was thinking how interesting it is that these two very different looking things both grow trees! So I thought I'd look them up so I could pass it along because I don't have anything more exciting than this to blog about tonight. I had a very nice morning with a friend and accomplished some things today, but I thought the sex life of a pine cone might interest you more.

are very slow to mature and come in different flavors.
